What is the tricky spot in Requiem of Spirit?
The middle jump from D up to A. Several fingers lift together, then some come back for the F. On a 12-hole, from D to A you lift the left ring, right index, right middle and right ring.
How do you hold and breathe for Requiem of Spirit?
Give each note its full length, breathe low and steady for the D, and do not rush the jump to A.
Which ocarina plays Requiem of Spirit?
Any 12-hole alto C, 6-hole pendant in C or 4-hole pendant in C plays it. On an ocarina in G or F, use the same fingerings and it sounds lower. See the 12-hole fingering chart for every note, and check yours with a chromatic tuner (our own ocarina tuner is on its way). Not sure which ocarina to get? Read our buying guide.
Where do you learn Requiem of Spirit in Ocarina of Time?
Sheik teaches the Requiem of Spirit when Link comes back out of the Spirit Temple for the first time. It warps Link to the Desert Colossus.
